Comprehensive Foot Screening

The foot is the part of our body that is usually affected by diabetes and its complications. As diabetes usually reduce sensation in our feet, many of the serious pathological changes can pass unnoticed and is in need for specific diagnostic tests to be early detected. The Comprehensive Foot screening includes assessment of :

  1. The peripheral nerve function: by using all clinical tests together with neurosethiometer.
  2. Assessment of peripheral circulation of the feet by measuring ankle brachial pressure index and toe pressure.
  3. Plantar pressure measurement by using computer-based sensors that measure the pressure below the foot during walking. The test detect if there is any high pressure points that could be in need for corrective measures.
  4. Diagnosis of foot deformities.
  5. Diagnosis of any skin pathology.
